Small cysts, benign growths, keloids, scars or soft tissue masses on the face or inside the mouth can be removed safely as a daycare surgical procedure under local anesthesia. The abnormal tissue is carefully excised while preserving surrounding healthy structures.

The procedure is usually quick and minimally invasive. In some cases, the removed tissue may be sent for laboratory testing to confirm the diagnosis.
